This is it guys, my final portfolio slideshow! All of this hard work is finally paying off. Hope that everyone enjoys. :)

A New Adventure

Randolph Community College has been a great opportunity for me. I am preparing to graduate next week and I have been reflecting on this crazy adventure. I have had my fair share of both good times and bad, and so have my fellow classmates. The photography program has challenged us in ways we could have never imagined and it is because of those trials that we will all come out as professionals in the field. 

I am glad to have shared these two years with supportive classmates, teachers who are willing to challenge me, and family and friends who are always up for having their pictures taken.

Now on to a new adventure!

Beachy

Hilton Head Island

 I love going to the beach because it takes me back to my childhood. Endlessly swimming in the salty waves and not having a care in the world. 

When I was younger, I used to find myself always in a rush to grow up. I thought that the older I got, the more I would know and be able to do. 

Now that I have grown up a bit I find myself missing the innocence of childhood. Not knowing and not having to.

Details

It amazes me how even the tiniest forms of life can be so intricate in detail. There is a whole other world right in front of us full of pants and animals that is so tiny it often goes unnoticed. 

It takes a special kind of person to notice these little details around us like an ant carrying food twice its size, or morning dew on a flower. And for me, recognizing these things makes me appreciate my life a little more. 

Bundle Of Joy

Not the greatest quality photo, have not had time for a photoshoot yet:). I just want to welcome my sweet little niece Evelyn into the world! This has been such an exciting time for the whole family. And she came just in time for fathers day! 

Congratulations to my brother and his girlfriend on their bundle of joy.

 Can't wait to be part of this adventure.

Unless.

Plants. 

They give us oxygen, beautiful gardens, shelter, and even food. 

Plants do not only help humans, but all of nature and very from towering trees 

to the smallest flowers. They can endure the toughest weather, hot or cold, and adapt to their environment. 

Sometimes, I think that we take advantage of them. We cut them down as if they are 

nothing and leave them to wilt. But we need to remember that they are the most innocent of living creatures. Plants can not defend themselves, so it is our responsibility to take care of them like they take care of us.

Summers Heat

We are slowly, but surely starting to get into the heat of summer.

 Longer days, beach trips, afternoons by the pool, and cookouts. This is one of my favorite

 times of year because it is a chance to relax, unwind, and enjoy the sun. Even though I will be 

working on my portfolio, I am looking forward to taking some time to kick back by the pool 

with my family this season. 

The Final Lap

   As May comes to an end, I start my last semester at Randolph Community College. 

   I just got done with my internship and that has taught me a great deal about what it is like to actually run a business. From sales sessions to paying the bills. There is a lot that goes into that people don't notice from the outside. 

   Now in this last semester, I am moving on to preparing my final portfolio. And I am starting to realize that eight weeks is going to fly by. That's right, four more credit hours and I go out into the real world. It is all exciting and scary, but it feels good to know that all my hard work is finally about to pay off.
